Kurupí Menta y Boldo is a 500 g Paraguayan yerba mate blend enriched with natural mint and boldo. This blend offers a smooth, aromatic infusion without smoky notes, slightly minty and with mildly bitter herbal accents from boldo, providing a refreshing and natural taste experience.
It is perfect for cold preparation (tereré) thanks to the cooling properties of mint and the mild digestive properties of boldo, but it is also pleasant to drink warm, providing a smooth, balanced flavor.
According to connoisseurs, this is the standard Kurupí blend for tereré and is loved for its fresh, non-bitter taste, ideal for daily consumption without overstimulation.

La Merced Campo Sur is the lightest, softest and sweetest expression in the premium yerba mate line from Las Marías. It is grown on Argentina's southernmost plantations and reflects decades of expertise in mate production. It is an exceptional introduction to premium yerba mate that gives up nothing in depth.
What does La Merced Campo Sur taste like?
La Merced Campo Sur tastes strikingly light and refined, with notes of hay and cedar alongside subtle hints of dried fruit reminiscent of apricots and raisins. The flavour is naturally sweet and mild, with delicate undertones of toasted sunflower seeds and a distinct lime note carrying a fresh, lively sharpness. Prepared in a traditional gourd, a nuance of baked bread also emerges, while the finish stays round and pleasant without any harshness. The body remains balanced and refined throughout the session and never overwhelms, even after 20-30 refills.
About the producer
La Merced comes from Establecimiento Las Marías, since 1924 one of the world's leading producers of yerba mate brands. Las Marías introduced the concept of terroir to the yerba mate world, recognising that geography shapes flavour just as it does in wine. Campo Sur is harvested specifically on Argentina's southernmost yerba mate plantations, where the cooler climate produces softer and lighter expressions. The company holds FSC certification and Rainforest Alliance recognition, guaranteeing sustainable practices at every stage.
How do you drink La Merced Campo Sur?
Prepare La Merced Campo Sur using the traditional Argentinian method: fill a gourd about two thirds with the loose yerba, pour in hot water at 70-80°C while holding back part of the yerba, place the bombilla and drink. This blend excels in exceptional longevity, with up to 30 refills or more, and develops beautifully as you keep drinking.

La Rubia Orgánica stands for the finest Paraguayan artisanal quality from a small family business. This organic mate is aged for 2 years to develop a refined flavour with smoky depth, notes of tobacco, cherry, dark chocolate and fresh acidity — qualities that recall a smoky whisky. Drinking it with lower temperature water (60°C) allows the layered, generous complexity to come fully into its own.
What does La Rubia Organica taste like?
La Rubia Organica is powerful yet refined, with an immediately present smokiness that never turns rough or sharp and develops smoothly with velvety, layered textures. The gastronomic flavour profile reveals notes of tobacco, cherry, dark chocolate and fresh acidity, which together create a refined depth without excessive intensity.
About the producer
La Rubia Orgánica is produced by a traditional family business in Paraguay that works in an artisanal way in small batches and has no formal online presence. Despite this unusual approach to marketing, the brand enjoys international standing thanks to word of mouth and recognition of its quality among experienced materos. The 2 years of ageing develop the complexity and softness that characterise this premium variety.
How do you drink La Rubia Organica?
Prepare La Rubia Organica with careful attention to temperature: around 60°C is ideal, lower than for most other yerba mate. Fill your gourd three quarters full, cover it and shake gently, then pour warm water at this lower temperature down one side and place your bombilla.

Pajarito Tradicional is the calling card and the most iconic expression of Paraguayan yerba mate. This powerful, smoke-dried classic from the Pajarito brand represents 70 years of heritage from Bella Vista, Paraguay. It is the ultimate expression of authentic Paraguayan mate character: strong, complex and versatile, suited to traditional hot mate and cold tereré alike.
What does Pajarito Tradicional taste like?

The aroma is woody with subtle hints of hay, buttery nuances, sweet caramel shades and light notes of candyfloss, giving a mild, somewhat restrained but genuinely complex aroma.
About the producer
Pajarito is Paraguay's best-selling yerba mate brand, founded in 1956 by Lauro Raatz and his wife Sara Ulbrich on the old yerba mate plantations of Don Gustavo Raatz. The brand grew from hand-powered drying installations and manual packing teams of 25 women into a producer of 15,000 packs a day, exporting to more than 47 countries worldwide.
