Smoky, woodsy, with tobacco-esque depth, some describe La Rubia as Virginia pipe tobacco, cherry, citrus, dark chocolate. Beginners might find it rough at first; it's crafted for seasoned materos who appreciate smoky and sour tones. But many reviews suggest even newcomers find it approachable if brewed at ~60–70 °C.

If you're after a rich, soulful Paraguayan mate, with bold smoky notes and a lasting sip, La Rubia Organica is an adventure worth taking. It's especially enjoyable as tereré or a focused afternoon pick-me-up.

Errug lekker, ook bij langer trekken van de thee!

Je proeft gewoon dat er geen insecticiden en andere kunstmatige middelen, zoals chemische meststoffen zijn gebruikt. De smaak is natuurlijker en intenser, en errug lekker. Niet biologische Yerba Mate is anders van smaak en wordt inderdaad vaak bitter bij langer trekken. Bovendien vind ik de gezonde werking van niet-bio de laatste jaren afgenomen, maar dat kan aan mij liggen.
